About us

The NUS Asian Real Estate Case Centre aims to develop a strong portfolio of real estate case study series focused in Asia for educating the next generation of real estate professionals, encouraging continuous learning amongst existing real estate professionals, and documenting significant tacit industry knowledge which might be lost over time.

Real estate, unlike general business topics, requires localized considerations of the business environment. Our case collection includes cases jointly developed with real estate companies (Ascendas, CapitaLand, CDL, China Vanke, etc.) and cases based on public sourced information. Currently, we have cases based in Singapore, India, China and Korea. Though our cases are written based on real events and situations, in some cases, details may have been altered for teaching purposes.

The cases are intended for education purposes and are developed to facilitate learning in our undergraduate and graduate courses (BSc and MSc), as well as our Executive Training programmes.

Through these case studies, the Centre also hopes to provide a structured platform to encourage timely discussions on challenges in the real estate industry.
