The Berkeley Program on Housing and Urban Policy was established in the fall of 1998 to promote academic excellence and national leadership in the analysis of housing and the application of knowledge to urban policy. The Program involves academic and professional leaders to further its research and educational objectives.
The Berkeley Program on Housing and Urban Policy supports economic research and teaching throughout the campus on urban development and policy. The Program arranges internships for professional students and encourages closer links between the university and the community of urban professionals. The Program is administered by Goldman School of Public Policy and is associated with the Fisher Center for Real Estate and Urban Economics.

The European Property Research Institute, Maastricht University

The European Property Research Institute at Maastricht University is the catalyst for research efforts in three mains focus areas: real estate investment performance, the economics of energy efficient and "green" building, and the effects of demography on real estate markets. Maastricht University has built up a strong reputation in real estate research and education, both for its academic level and for its practical relevance. The institute brings together the real estate knowledge of Maastricht University and its academic and industry partners in Europe and beyond.

The Institute for Real Estate Studies is unique at the Smeal College of Business in that it is a vital conduit for leading edge academic research and serves as the physical presence for real estate education at Penn State. The Institute for Real Estate Studies (IRES) is a privately sponsored research institution whose advisory board is made up of donors to the Institute. Established in 1985, IRES fosters discussion and research between academicians and business professionals in the area of real estate and provides a focal point for real estate education at Penn State.

The Samuel Zell and Robert Lurie Real Estate Center at Wharton

The Samuel Zell and Robert Lurie Real Estate Center was established in 1983 by The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania to foster excellence in real estate education and research. The Zell/Lurie Center actively promotes and funds cutting-edge scholarly research on topics of vital interest to our industry. Research conducted by the Real Estate Department's standing and affiliated faculty, has been augmented by the addition of Zell/Lurie Post-doctoral Researchers and/or Research Specialists. Findings are published in the Center's own Wharton Real Estate Review (a twice-yearly journal primarily aimed at real estate executives, analysts, public officials, and scholars), in leading academic real estate journals, and in the Center's Working Paper Series. In addition, the Center sponsors the Seevak Student Research Competition for both undergraduate and MBA students.
